About Fields of Green

After designing for both small and large fashion companies in New York and Los Angeles, Valerie Wildes landed in Nashville where she happily became a stay at home mama. 

Running around with two toddlers full-time has inspired Valerie to revisit making clothing by hand in the quiet while her babies sleep. The name Fields of Green portrays the feeling of peace that comes with working this way. 

Combining an interesting and sometimes unexpected mix of colors, prints and textures along with unwavering attention to detail, such as beautiful construction and unique finishings are the forefront of the brand. Creating an elevated bohemian look is the intention behind each one of-a-kind piece.
